Abstract

The judgment dismissed the appeal brought by the defendant company against the judgment of the Supreme Court of Asturias, which upheld the collective dispute and declared the right of the workers concerned to work on Sundays and authorised public holidays in accordance with the provisions of Article 5 of the Collective Agreement for the general commerce sector of the Principality of Asturias, stipulating that it was invalid and inadmissible that the workers had made an absolute and permanent disposal of their rights.
