Labor contract, main legislative amendments. The performance of the Labor and Social Security Inspection

Abstract

The legal modifications introduced in the Workers' Statute in terms of labor contracting modalities by Royal Decree Law 32/2021, of December 28, are indicated. The starting point is the situation at the end of 2021, with high rates of temporary hiring, 90% of the initial contracts concluded, and the need to reverse the situation. After analysing the main changes in the matter, the performance of the Labor and Social Security Inspection is described, in the control of the regulations, exposing the competences, programming of objectives, and the sanctioning regime.
