Abstract

This paper sets out to analyse the latest jurisprudential resolutions of the Social Security Chamber of the Supreme Court in terms of workplace accidents and their legal concept. The aspects which lead to greater litigation continue to be the indirect causal relationship (weak causal link "on occasion" of the job performed) and the interpretation of accidents on the way to and from work, presumption in workplace accidents or cardiovascular diseases, and the assessment of the injury caused to the worker due to a workplace accident.
