Abstract

The termination of temporary disability benefit because of unjustified failure to appear in medical examinations was a hardly enunciated at a legal level issue (Articles 131 bis and 132-3 LGSS) and had totally outdated statutory regulation (the repealed Royal Decree 575/1997), what was tried to be resolved with the approval of Royal Decree 625/2014, of 18 July. The main features of their legal system are analyzed in this paper in order to assess the new regulation's contributions to solve the main theoretical and Econopractical problems, which were raised. The paper also analyzes the new termination assumption introduced by the eleventh additional provision of Law 35/2014, of 26 December.
