Abstract

The self-employed have been involved in various reforms in recent years. However, in 2022 a number of new developments were published which seek to improve the system of guarantees and social protection provided for these workers, particularly in the area of contributions and cessation of work. Despite good intentions, there are many positive and negative criticisms that have emerged. It is essential to maintain the productive fabric and also the various forms of work, which is why we have sought to grant the Special Self-employed Regime the same advantages as the General Regime.
