The Supreme Court admits the simultaneous payment of two maternity benefits, one in the General System and the other in the Special System of Self-Employed Workers, on an extended leave of absence to look after a child under the age of three. The performance of a professional activity by the worker on an extended leave of absence which permits to reconcile the personal, familiar and working life and sign up in the Special Regime of Self-Employed Workers, does not involve the mutation of the leave of absence for taking care of childreen in a voluntary one.
