Abstract

In this article we analyse the non-contributory pensions from the perspective of gender. And it is that, the gender has been since the instauration of a non-contributory system of protection in the Spanish system of Social Security a basic element of the non-contributory pensioners, being the feminine the most benefited community of such provision (or more "prejudiced"). To such effect, and after a general approximation to the dynamics of the non-contributory pensions from a perspective of gender, our study will complement it with the analysis of the treatment that the legal rule and in accordance with the regulations applicable gives him to questions whose impact of gender results very evident: the matrimonial pensions, the matrimonial properties, the fibromyalgia and the gender-based violence.
