About Social Security in the Spanish Constitution, as of 1990

Abstract

This Study was published, by the admired Professor Efrén Borrajo Dacruz, shortly after the app. oval of the Spanish Constitution of 1978. Despite this, it reflects in detail the important constitutional doctrine of that time, the main contributions of the scientific doctrine and the interpretative criteria of the author himself, as sharp as has been usual in his numerous works. Of particular importance is his opinion on the weak constitutional coverage of social protection, and his conclusions on the distribution of competences, in this matter, between the State and the Autonomous Communities.
