The judgment under review dismisses the age of a professional football player as a factor in determining their permanent total disability, focusing instead on the nature and extent of the proven injuries. Sharing the criteria used by the Court, this analysis raises some doubts as to whether, from a legal point of view, the recognition of the footballer’s total permanent disability is appropriate in this case
