Abstract

Access to the widow's pension needs certain requirements, among which the need for the deceased is registered or in an equivalent situation. These last situations are set out normatively, but also the Supreme Court has identified a number of them through a flexible interpretation of the requirement. The STS January 30, 2015, as the previous STS January 19, 2010, raise a new case study: the possibility to consider as similar situation to registered the off work not followed by the application for unemployment benefits and subsequent registration as unemployed worker.
