Abstract

In the current socio-economic and employment context, entrepreneurship is one of the few alternatives to job creation. There are many measures that directly or indirectly can be considered as incentives for entrepreneurship, however, this work is limited exclusively to the analysis and critical reflection of two measures of direct support to individual self-employment: grants program promoting self-employment among jobseekers; and the price increases and reductions in social security contributions, and a measure of indirect support: instruments reconciling family life and self-employment.
