This research work aims to do an analysis of the legal regulations of the European Union coordination of the unemployment benefits derived from the community social law. On that purpose, we must begin with the well-known Regulation (CE) num. 883/2004 of the European Parliament and the Council, which deals with the coordination of the social security systems, and the Regulation (CE) num. 987/2009 of the European Parliament and the Council, by which the application norms of the Regulation (CE) num. 883/2004 are established. From its contents and the recent declarations in case-law terms by the Court of Law of the European Union, it is concluded that the unemployment still constitutes the most problematic and complex social service due to the existence of different legal regulations of the member States, what justifies this focus on it, where both the questions that the current regulation is creating and the contemplated answers in the legal and legislative field will be studied.Downloads
