The management of health and economic benefits in Italian law in favour of workers after suffering an occupational contingency. INAIL and its contrast with mutual collaborators with Social Security

Abstract

This article aims to reflect the most relevant aspects of the legal protection of workers who have suffered an accident at work or occupational disease in Italy. To this end, an analysis is made of the legal regime of the economic and welfare benefits to which they may have access, as well as of the INAIL, the public body specialising in occupational contingencies in said country. For its part, a comparative view is offered between the Italian INAIL and its Spanish counterpart: the group of Mutual Collaborators with Social Security.
