Abstract

The paper highlights the innovations introduced by the Jobs Act to workers' protection system in the event of job loss. The reform had an impact on unemployment benefits by designing a system intended for a wider audience of beneficiaries, which also includes the compatibility between the new social insurance for employment and self-employment and subordinate relationships. The new system also coexists with the changes made in the active labor market policies, which have been designed to approximate to the labor market marginalized workers.
