Abstract

The abovementioned ruling classes monocular vision as total permanent disability for the usual and customary occupation of professional builder. To reach this conclusion, the Supreme Court not only took into consideration the influence of vision loss on the correct performance of tasks included in the profession, but also attached special relevance to the preventive dimension.
